That's More Than Enough

You closed the door to your small, one-floored house. It was evening, and you were walking down the walkway to buy some groceries. You walked down the street in your basketball shorts, t-shirt, and jacket. Okay, we need some bread, milk, and cereal… I'll buy some chocolate chips too, just because. You walked down, and put on some earphones, and listened to music.

While you're getting groceries, let's get to know yourself! You weren't the girliest person in the world. You've been in quite the bind before, and we won't get into that right now. You were good at sports, and got good grades. You were a good student, just a little, the tiniest bit stubborn. You had an older brother. His name is Akio* (uh-kee-oh). He had black hair (cut like the genderbend Vocaloid GUMI, GUMO), brown eyes, and olive skin. He looks younger than his actual age; His age is 20, but he looks 18. He's athletic, artistic, and awesome. Not to mention, FUNNY! :D …And smart. He is also fluent in German and loves to bake and cook. To be honest, he's really good at it. He has a love for burgers and has a bottomless pit for his stomach. He also sings and dances. He doesn't really care about his appearance. At times he can be very stoic and serious… Or scary and intimidating. He's has an open mind and has a lot of perspectives. (You could say his personality is like a combination of Prussia and Germany and America, with a pinch of Russia.)

You came back from buying groceries. You unlocked the door and shouted, "I'm home!" Silence. You rolled your eyes. "And I have chocolate chips!" You heard footsteps coming from the hallway. You saw your brother.

"Let's make chocolate cake~!" he said when he was near you.

"Great. Don't say 'hi', or 'how are you'." You handed him the bags.

He took everything and said, "Hi. Now let's move on the chocolate cake."

"Okay, I get you want cake," you said as you stopped trying to make him greet in any way.

Eventually, you had your cake. And your brother ate most of it, but you finished it, nonetheless. You went to sleep.

~~~~Time Skip: Next Morning~~~~
"Hey. Get up!" you brother said, trying to get you up.
"At 6:30…" you said tiredly.
He shook you. You didn't get up. He shook you again. You didn't get up. He went to your laptop on your desk, turned it on, and played really loud music. You started getting up and sleepily said, "Turn it down…" You looked at your brother. He was dancing. "What are you doing…?" you asked him.
"I'm trying to wake you up~!!" he said. He liked the morning.
"Well I'm up now," you said, now fully awake. You got ready and ate some breakfast. "I'm gonna go now!" you said.
"No. I'M gonna drop you off," he said, since he passes the school on the way to college.
"I can walk, y'know."
"Shut up. I'm being a good brother." You rolled your eyes.
"Fine," you said. You grabbed your things and walked into the garage and got into his car, a white Toyota Camry. He opened the garage door, and he got inside the driver's seat. He started the car and left.
When you arrived at school, you saw your best friend, Kam**. He took the bus, so he arrived ten minutes before you. Who knows what he did before you came, but you didn't care. He had black hair, cut like a normal guy's hair. He was tall, but only about an inch or two above average. He had a birthmark, or freckles –He doesn't know- on the left side of his face. His eyes were a dark brown, almost black. (He has to be about three inches away from the mirror to see that his eyes are brown, and not black.) He was lazy. By far, one of the laziest people you've ever met. He had colorful clothing, lots of color. According to all of his friends, but he doesn't see it, he's a tsundere, apparently. He doesn't swear… Often. (He has cover words.) He has two personalities, the one at school, and at home. (When he's at home, he becomes a Japan, except lazier, less back problems, and more computer obsessed.)
He started waving crazily at you. Your brother opened the window, and said, "Calm down, I know you're excited to see me, but…"
"Oh shut up, that wasn't for you," Kam said.
"BE QUIET. ESPECT YOUR ELDERS," Akio said.
"Meh meh, whatever," Kam said as he waved him away. "It's cloudy…" he said looking at the sky. Your brother drove away, and you two walked into the hallway. Kam had started crushing leaves when he slipped on one. (He's bit of a klutz too.) He didn't fall, but he just slipped. "How did I slip on a leaf? Of all things I could have slipped on, I slipped on a leaf!" he exclaimed. He sighed.
"Well, people slip on leaves on the road…" you said.
"That's only if it rained," Kam said.
"Who cares?"
"Fine…" You both kept walking around, talking about random things.
"Oh yeah," you started, "I had chocolate cake last night…"
"Hold it right there. You had chocolate cake, AND YOU DIDN'T SAVE ME ANY?!?!?!? I can't believe it, no chocolate for me? Of all people, you didn't save chocolate for me?" he ranted. "And it was a CAKE? You must-" he was interrupted.
You held up a small box. "And you were saying?" you asked.
"GIMME," he said. You handed the box to him. He took a spoon out his backpack (because he has home lunch) and started eating. "Tastes good," he said while nodding in approval.
"Thank my brother. Wait, actually thank me, I'm the one who brought home the chocolate chips," you said.
"Thank you very much ___________. I was in need for some chocolate," he said. "Oh look! There's Matthew!" He pointed to him. "HI MATTHEW!!" he shouted to him while waving, fast.
"Oh hello, Kam and ____________," he said. You've met him a few times before. He isn't really all that loud, his hair was blond, and he had a random curl in front of his face. He had glasses, but his eyes were blue. He had a polar bear, in which he carried around all the time. You couldn't see how he was mistaken for his brother.
"How's life been, Matthew?***" Kam asked.
"I've been well, thank you for asking," Matthew said.
"Great! I finally learned how to play 'Twinkle Twinkle Little Star' on the guitar!" Kam said. "And how to replace a guitar string. Heh…"
"I didn't know you played guitar Kam," Matthew said.
"Sorta. The guitar was just sitting in my room so I decided to try playing it. My dad asked me the other day if I was playing it… So I kind of have to anyway. Can't just let it rot away in my room."
"I see."
"Yup." Kam smiled. He took a bit of cake. "So _______________.... Got anything exciting going on in your life? Besides the fact that your brother made this wonderful chocolate cake."
"Eh. Dunno. I don't think that doing homework and going to buy groceries is that exciting," you said.
"I just noticed…" Kam said. "You're not wearing your glove." He was looking at your left hand.
"Very observant, aren't you?" you said.
"Yes, very."
"Just decided to wash it, is all.
"Been a long time since you last did that."
Matthew interrupted. "How long have you two known each other?"
You both looked at each other. "Since 1st grade," you said in unison.
"That's a long time…" Matthew said.
"Yup!" Kam said. He took another bite of cake. "Okay, it's official. I need this cake recipe."
"You're gonna make it?" you said in disbelief.
"I get that I'm not the best cook… I'll keep trying to make it until I get it right… Actually, scratch that. I'll tell my mom to make it."
"That would take a lot of tries," you said.
Kam rolled his eyes, "Yeah yeah."  He looked at Matthew. "Want some cake?"
Matthew shook his head. "I had some pancakes earlier so I'm not very hungry…"
"Okay, suit yourself!" Kam said as he took another bite. "Should I save the cake for later? Wait, I have chocolate chip cookies in my lunch, so I'll eat it all now!"
"Hurry. Before class starts," you said.
"Yeah yeah." He kept eating until the last crumb was gone. "Mmmm… That was good." The bell rang. "Just on time." He started walking to his first period class, P.E. "Bye!" he shouted to you and Matthew. You both waved to him.
And that was the regular morning.
HEYYY!
GUESS WHO'S BACK?
THAT'S RIGHT, I AM!!!
And with a CanadaXReader, even better!
So, how's life been?
ANYWAY.
If you noticed, the title is also the title of the song, That's More Than Enough by Sako Tomohisa, also known as ShounenT, I believe.
As for the... star things...
*: Akio is the genderbent name of my older sister, Aiko. Yes, that is her personality. She put in that whole paragraph about her personality, so if you think she's cool, go and watch her!
----->:iconyusohot:
**:That is MY genderbentname. That is my personality. And I did slip on a leaf recently! (Same story, crush then slip. Except I was with a guy..) And yes, I do wave crazily at people I am friends with. i.e. :iconkpopfan1412: Ask me any questions you want about myself! (Unless I know you in real life...)
When Akio said. "BE QUIET. RESPECT YOUR ELDERS."
I immediately thought of the video called "Shit Asian Moms Say"
